Based in Istanbul, Tugce Tuna has been working as a choreographer, performer. She completed her doctorate degree at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Performing Arts, Istanbul, with a thesis entitled "Relationship of Body and Space" (2003) along with the accompanying project “Vertigo” (2002). She teaches dance composition, improvisation, repertoire, contemporary technique at the same institution since 1996. She also teaches as guest lecturer at“International Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance” since 2003. Her projects involve; "Curve" Aga Turkish Bath 2005 Istanbul - “I saw in my dream” Turkish-French Modern Dance Festival 2004- “Vertigo/o.4” 14. International Istanbul Theatre Festival 2004 - “Solitude” 7. Int. Solo Dance- Theatre Festival Stuttgart - “Dance with Different Bodies” 2001-2003 Istanbul. Tugce has participated several prominent international festivals. Currently she is researching the “relationship of body between brain and gravity” |

Ce travail se concentre sur “ le mouvement développant sa propre existence dans le corps et l’espace”. Tuna, en même temps, appréhende le corps comme un espace limité et enquête sur l'existence et la métamorphose dans cet espace limité. |

Basée en Istanbul, Tugce Tuna travaille comme chorégraphe et interprète. Elle a complété son doctorat à L’Université des Beaux Arts Mimar Sinan à Istanbul, au département des arts de la performance, avec un mémoire intitulé “La Relation du corps et de l’espace” (2003) en lien avec le projet “Vertigo” (2002). Elle enseigne la composition en danse, l’improvisation, le répertoire, la technique contemporaine dans la même institution depuis 1996. Elle enseigne, en plus, comme conférencière invitée au “International Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance” depuis 2003.
